Perhaps it's stacks of clothing or even a mishmash of power tools and those lamps that look just like your grandma's. Well, they've got those, but Expo NM's weekend flea market has more than just that. This is New Mexico, after all! Here's a look at 10 things you'll find (and maybe didn't know you could) at Expo NM's Flea Market. 1. We are located in Albuquerque at Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds on Central Avenue west of Louisiana Boulevard. Thousands of people come every Saturday and Sunday. People are buying and selling just about anything and everything you can imagine–old, new, unique, tried and true. Expo New Mexico 300 San Pedro Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 (505) 222-9700 2. Sunglasses via Flickr: rameshram Every day is a bright day in Albuquerque, so making sure to have those stylish shades is a priority. There's always at least one sunglasses vendor, but you're sure to find them at other booths, too. Pick up one (or five) of your favorite pairs! 5. The Perfect Gift My find today at the #expofleamarket #antique #owlcookiejar A photo posted by Alisha Berkhimer (@aberkhimer) on Sep 17, 2016 at 1:19pm PDT Sure, you can go to a big box store and pick something up, but nothing says "I Love You" like something found. Secondhand shopping for gifts is a great alternative and you can find cool cookie jars like this orange owl. 6. And if they do, we consider that a perfect shopping day. 7. Who's Got the Herb Sometimes when I can't grow my own herbs I go to the Flea Market to buy some. Recommend. Take that grandma lamp and look for its next purpose. Maybe use those power tools you saw earlier, too.
