Let's hop in and take a look at some of the most catchy vehicles around town. 1. The Gang Is All Here Image Via Facebook: Laura Kanaar What a cool way to repurpose and old van! Vintage Scooby Doo painted along the side complete with tie-dye curtains and flower gas cap make this van one you want to spot around town. Presented by Albuquerque Health Care For The Homeless AHCH is excited to announce we have received the newest version of naloxone (narcan)! The new delivery system for narcan is much quicker to administer to someone experiencing an overdose. The previous version required six different assembly steps, while the newer narcan can be opened quickly and administered right away. Duke City Dinosaurs Image Via Facebook: Leslie Sandoval One of the most memorable scenes in the newest Jurassic Park movie was the vintage Jeep from the original being brought back. (spoiler alert!)Seeing this driving around town, we know we will be safe from any Jurassic takeover. 3. Dynamic Duo Image Via Facebook: Albuquerque Batmobile Doc Brown meets Batman, now that's a dynamic duo. Usually, if you spot one around town you will most likely see the other driving not too far behind. 4. Vigilante Part II Image Via Facebook: Racing Southwest Now that's what we call a vibrant, detailed paint job. Given any nice weekend, you can find a car show or two filled with passion projects as cool as this one. 5. Room For Two Image Via Facebook: Terra Albin Maybe, three? Ok never mind I don't think you can fit more than two people in this car but it would be a great vehicle to squeeze in a front row spot in Nob Hill! 6. Cadillac Limo Image Via Facebook: To Ast Everything about this screams Duke City. A limo a burgundy Cadillac is exactly what every Burqueno went to prom in back in the day. 7. Doggie Duty One of the best ways to advertise is on your vehicle, right? This one goes the extra mile with the "decorative" piece on top, but guaranteed it will get your attention. 8. Throwback Image Via Facebook: Fred Carlton Can you imagine this driving around town nowadays? The ice would definitely melt by the time it got through traffic on today's Central. 9. Doors With A Purpose Image Via AHCH The mobile van allows members in the community to bring their used syringes in exchange for new ones. The 'salad bar' style of items provide participants a choice in the supplies they require to reduce individual risk and is the only one in town that serves syringes and condoms. It's great to live in a city that invests in our public health; Senator Jerry Ortiz-y Pino, NM Senator Jacob Candelaria, NM State Representative Gail Chasey, and Rep. Rick Miera. Thanks also to the City of Albuquerque Department of Family & Community Services for being AHCH's local fiscal sponsor of awarded funds. The van is also uniquely designed as a mobile service provider. Staff also conduct rapid HIV testing, housing assessments, and make referrals to other appropriate services as people need. 10. Who You Gonna Call? Image Via Facebook: Desmon Don Butts If you didn't read that and immediately yell GHOSTBUSTERS, you're lying. I've seen this vehicle frequently parked outside the airport and it always makes me smile when I see it. The details are uncanny to the one in the movie. 11. Purrfect Image Via Facebook: Shaun Bogle Trucks, scooters and now this, I've seen more Hello Kitty decked out vehicles than any other around town. 12. Top Down Image Via Facebook: Mark Chavez Now this is something I'd definitely want to take on a drive up to the Sandia Crest on a nice sunny day. Who's with me? 13. Hot Wheels Image Via Facebook: Randy Morton I'm not sure how I have never seen this car driving around town but it's now my mission to find it! A real life hot wheels car is every child's dream when they grow up. 14. Sweet Pea Image Via Facebook: Anita Sanchez Ortiz Alright, now I'm positive only two people will fit inside this vehicle. I would love to have this around especially when gas prices go through the roof. Can you imagine how many mpg it gets? 15. Balloon Cruiser Image Via Facebook: CaZoo Hot Air Balloon Team Vehicle passion projects are so great in this city because we have so many days of good weather in order to take them out and about. Who wouldn't want to drive along Tramway out to the balloon fiesta in this? 16. Forrest Tank Image Via Facebook: Peter Ingrassia Snow in the winter? No problem when you have this thing sitting in your driveway! 17. Throwback Part II Image Via Facebook: Michael H Jones Who remembers going to the dragstrip every weekend? If you have fond memories of going with your family, this is exactly what it looked like! 18. Hi-Lowrider Image Via Facebook: Isaac Taking Over If this doesn't scream 505, I'm not sure what else does! Subscribe to get the best Albuquerque stories delivered free right to your inbox.
