via Twitter EXCLUSIVE: Heather Mills Leaving KOB By chris 11/22/2013 Share Tweet + KOB morning anchor Heather Mills confirmed to NewsCastic she is leaving the station to work for KDVR in Denver. Mills is the latest KOB staffer to leave the station. Departures this year include Mills' morning co-anchor Antoinette Antonio, who left KOB in May to join WCVB in Boston, and Gadi Schwartz, who left the station in August for NBC-owned KNBC in Los Angeles. Mills tells NewsCastic going to Denver will be a homecoming of sorts."I went to high school in Littleton and my dad worked at KWGN for years," Mills said. "I'm certainly going to miss NM, my home for the last 3 years. The folks here have made me feel very welcome & I've grown to LOVE green chile."Mills has worked at KOB since 2011. Before that she was the main anchor at KAUZ-TV in Wichita Falls, Texas, according to her KOB profile. Her father, who is a reporter in L.A., got his start in Roswell. Mills graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Media Communication and a minor in Philosophy. Mills is joining former KOB reporter Jeremy Jojola, who left the station in August 2011 to work for 9News, in the Denver market.
